Mr. Chookiat Ophaswongse, president of Thai Rice Exporters Association, joined a special panel discussion on “Foresee Rice Price Direction : Reduce Risk, Avoid World Crisis” as part of the seminar “Thai Rice Conference 2009” , which was held to commemorate the second anniversary of “Thai Rice” magazine on Tuesday, May 19, 2009 at Sofitel Centara Grand Hotel. The panel also included Mr. Siripol Yodmuangcharoen, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Commerce, Dr. Nipon Poapongsakorn, president of Thailand Development Research Institute (TDRI), Mr. Prasit Boonchoey, president of Thai Farmers Association, and Mr. Chanchai Rakthananon, president of Thai Rice Mills Association. |
